As a senior, I’ve modified my purpose for living after watching several people approach the end of their lives as egocentrics with qualities you expect from young children.

As I age, I want to become increasingly mellow, forgiving, kind, appreciative and giving – qualities individuals haven’t always yet developed at the beginning of life but I believe can become more prevalent over time.

After all, we’ve had a whole lifetime of practice in how to behave as mature adults.

Right now, “giving” is a key word for me. Maybe that’s why I’m devoting my time to “help mature adults find peace with age-related limitations.”

What incident in your life triggered your current “why” for living?
